Organic production in Argentina has been regulated by law since 1999. Argentina is considered as third country equivalent for the certification of organic products destined to the European Union, Switzerland and Japan.
ORGANICO ARGENTINA certifies its products following the highest demands of the European organic market under Regulation 834/2007, which regulates the production and labeling of organic/biological/ecological products in the European Union. Today, 38% of Argentine organic exports are sold to the EU market.
