Grapoila® started as a food manufacturer in 2009, when upcycling was an obscure idea. We reused discarded seeds as raw material for fine food. We bought pomace from wineries and pressed grapeseed oil with custom-built machines. While extending the cold-pressed oil range, we refined our eco-conscious phylosophy throughout the manufacturing, to reach a real zero waste production, where ALL byproducts are saved and reused. The first press residue: the dry pellets go to a mill, to become gluten-free seed flour. It is a perfectly healthy diet food and baking ingredient, a natural coloring and thickening agent. Another main byproduct: oil mud is used as key ingredient for gourmet spreads or cosmetic facial masks. Our recent product line, Grapoila Natural Cosmetics are based on the best cosmetic oils we produce. Grapoila® has also been active in R&D, with a well-equipped cosmetics and food lab and a growing team of professionals.
